Sad update on Hanbin

We got some discouraging news this week regarding Hanbin. His Korean foster parents think they want to adopt him. We don't know much beyond that right now, but we do know:
  1. He has been in their house for at least two months.
  2. He has only been available to Int'l adoption for 3 weeks (and we have known him for 2 weeks)
  3. They are older, with college age kids.
  4. This is their first time being foster parents.
  5. Korea encourages domestic adoption.
  6. Social Welfare Services (SWS, the Korean gov't adoption agency) will do a full review/homestudy to determine the intent behind their desire.
We spoke with our social worker late last week and she said she will let us know whatever she finds out. If things are taking too long, she will do her best to push things ahead.

We are not telling Elizabeth, because we do not know anything definitively yet.

We are praying for God's will here and it is hard to potentially see Hanbin go. Please pray for us, for Hanbin, and that his best interests are kept in mind.
