Gotcha! Tuesday

This pic was taken right after the one with me at the bottom of the post. I couldn't put all the way down there, could I?!?!

On Tuesday, we got Asa at 1:30 PM at the SWS offices. That meant we had Tuesday morning to do whatever we wanted; finish shopping, sightseeing, etc. So, we went to Dongdaemun market, which had a street called Toy Alley.

Hmmmm, anyone care to guess why we went there??? :^) To let the 36 and 5 year olds play!

Wait for the best 5 year old humor, EVER, right at the end of the video. Did you see it?

Outside the market was Dongdaemun gate, or the East gate to the old city. Props to E for the great pic!

After a little more shopping, I went to get some pics of the Cheonggyecheon. This is an historic stream that flows through the city, which once was covered up, but recently was uncovered and restored.

While on my way, I spied another traditional building, which I realized after the fact was Bosin-Gak Bell Pavillion, which was pretty cool to stumble upon more historic architecture.

Then, after one last McDonald's run, on Tuesday at 1:30, came the best part of the trip!

Of course, we went to get him! Elizabeth told you with her actions, not her words.

Asa, with his foster mother, who was great. When it came time to hand him over, she was awesome, no tears (that we saw) and very appreciative of what we were doing for Asa. I tried to tell her thank you in Korean as many times as I could before we got on the elevator.

Playing with forever momma and big sister. He did great, no tears until later, after Janet fed him.

One final pic with Young Mee, our social worker, Asa's foster mom and her daughter.

First bottle, which went well, he took it all relatively quickly. Elizabeth even helped, too

Playing with big sister, and doing great.

Playing with blue bear that Elizabeth gave him last Friday, still not sure about all of this.

Mom with two sleepy kids on the bus ride to Incheon Airport. Think she could be any happier?
