Elizabeth and I did our usual thing this morning: breakfast at Le Peep (this time with friends, a good time), then to Phillips Toy Mart, Richland Creek and then Mims house. After having fun in the creek for a while- finding shells, damming up a part of it with rocks, Elizabeth dunking her left foot, shoe, sock and all, we look up and there is a lady standing on the other side of the creek looking over at us.
She sees us see her and she asks if she can take a few pictures. Fine, I say. She soon follows up with 'I am from the Tennessean' insinuating 'I am not stalking you'. We talk for a while across the creek, she shoots a couple pics of us, and she asks if she can ask us a few more questions. Fine, we will drive over there (I was still dry).
We drive over, and she asks a few questions of us, Elizabeth answers some, more at my prompting. And she tells us she is with Davidson AM, the weekend filler, I guess. (Thanks, Mim and Poppie for today's copy (which Elizabeth thought she was in, BTW)) She apparently comes by there sometimes and was thrilled to find a child playing in the creek. Apparently, our kind of fun is news worthy copy.
Anyway, she gave me her card to ensure me she wasn't phony and she said she would call before it ran.
So, we got that going for us.
