Fun with the DSLR, Christmas Tree and nighttime

Just for fun, I tried taking a few pics of our Christmas tree tonight, and it devolved into a 'how cool can I drag my shutter' thing. (How old am I???) Anyway, here are the pics. (Facebookies- click through to the blog to see pics).

No flash, its dark, too hard to hold my breath and hold the camera still for 1.4 seconds. No good.

















Flash, dragging the shutter for about .4 seconds, pretty cool, but hard to move the camera in a perfect circle.

The Tree is Crying! (homage to SRV). It's easy to move the camera in a straight line, though.

















OK, last try for a perfect circle. Doh! Almost. I gotta go to bed.
