Sunday's Fun!

Yesterday, without alarm clocks, we again woke up before any roosters in Seoul (if there are any in a city of 15 million). And had to figure out what we were going to do early (around 5:30 to 6 AM). We figured McDonald's would be open, since the sign said 24 hours. Wrong. Glad to see that they close for the Sabbath, but sad we couldn't get flapjacks (like in Groundhog Day). :^) We have learned that signs are a general suggestion, not strict rules. For instance, red lights mean- if you are in a hurry (everyone is), go cautiously. No parking- HA! Painted lines on streets for lanes- what are those?

So, we ate in the room, then headed to Disney, no, Lotte World! It's an indoor amusement park (Elizabeth entertainment) with an outdoor area called Magic Island. (Does Disney know about this place???) It's bonkers! They have about 5 rides, plus kiddie rides outside. One indoor ride actually does a loop. It had an hour wait, we passed.

We are ride snobs, and were not going to wait an hour for the good rides, so we did the carousel, some kiddie rides, got her face painted, so Elizabeth was happy. We also took tons of pics.

Maybe Disney has blessed this place, after all...

Yup, I don't think they would let them get away with this.
