Saturday's adventures

We have been so busy, this post is a day late! (ahem, now, two days late) We had a lot of fun the day before yesterday, visiting two shopping areas, Namdaemun, or a traditional open-air market (utter chaos), and Insa-Dong, a street market with arts, crafts and antique stores. On the weekend, they close down the street and people mill around everywhere.

Janet and Elizabeth walking in Namdaemun market. It was early and COLD.

Elizabeth trying on her Hanbok, a traditional Korean children's outfit. I think at one time, there were three or four ladies helping out. The lady pictured here kissed Elizabeth on the cheek after she helped.

Finished! She loves it, so we got it for her. Asa's foster mother gave us one for him, too.

Insa-Dong street market.

Elizabeth posing with some frogs at Insa-Dong.

We ended the day at McDonald's, which we realized was just outside our subway stop. (Can you say happy five year old?!?!) I also met two families from Minnesota, and they gave us some tips on what to see and do.

More to come about yesterday and today!
